Hi, my name is Laurie, I am the founder of Existencim LLC, that was created to offer services related to the Self-Determination Program established in California to give choices to Regional Center Customers, as well as Life Coaching Services to the general public. Even though those services might not seem related on the surface, they serve the same purpose of finding one's path to a better quality of life by collaborating with others, brainstorming and being in a place where one can be free to explore, create, and do the brave work of being in one's truth.

What I offer you is my passion, my will, my skills, my values and my creative energy so that we can work together, side by side. My personality is reflected in the principles that guide my daily life and my professional career, allowing me to offer you a service of quality. I love to brainstorm and create structures, to collaborate with someone and dig deep to witness those aha moments that shift energies and turns dreams into attainable goals.  

I was born and raised in France, where I spent half of my life (so far!) and moved to California in 1995. While being a paralegal for many years, I dedicated more and more of my time to learning about disability rights, IEPs, and anything related to disability in general, as well as person centered thinking and other theories linked to the disabled community. This slow building fire led me to a need to change my own path and to really devote myself to our community. I am also very eclectic and creative, I love to coach, I am a Bach Flower Practitioner (Level II), as well as a massage therapist, and a sophrologist. I love to create relationships and exchange with others, understand their experience, and collaborate to create something new, a structure that is flexible enough to be changeable, improved upon, and also realistic and achievable. I participate in many community meetings, I help parents as a parent navigator in our school district, OUSD, I am an OUSD YAP School Site Council member, as well as a Special Olympics Coach for Team Oakland and Oakland Oaks, and a proud mom of a young adult with disabilities. 

I practice yoga, I love walking, reading, traveling, dancing, cooking, creating, being in community, trying new things, and going to the movies and concerts.
